The assignment

Google Maps needed a training film that could teach Street View operators how to do the work properly — the kind of video that has to be clear enough to be referenced mid-task, and interesting enough to actually get watched the first time.

What I did

I produced, directed, shot, and edited the film end to end, and managed stakeholder reviews across the Street View team. The work lived in the gap between documentary and instructional — translating complex processes into easy-to-follow instructions, and balancing clarity with visual storytelling so the film held up as something people actually wanted to watch.

Outcome

A training film that Street View operators can use as reference and a team can be proud of — a documentary sensibility applied to an instructional brief.
